CAMDEN – Sometimes, all it takes is a free meal to motivate someone that they are worth it, or to brighten one’s day. For someone who is just trying to make it in the world, all it takes is one employer to believe in them and hire them.

Contributing to senior citizens and the youth in her community has always been essential for Corinne Bradley-Powers, founder of Corinne’s Place.

After starting her restaurant from nothing, she lends a helping hand for people to do the same. She supports children and residents who need someone to guide them in the right path or simply to make them feel that someone wants to see them win.

Bradley-Powers calls them her “children,” even though they aren’t all related by blood. She has proudly watched people become entrepreneurs, principals, lawyers, etc.
