WEST CAPE MAY, N.J. – If you’ve never been to Beach Plum Farm located at 140 Stevens Street in West Cape May, you’re missing out on a really good time with family or friends.
The chicken salad sandwich is only rivaled by the watermelon peach feta salad. The watermelon peach and feta cheese salad, though an unlikely combination, is welcomed and accepted, and the peach tea helped put a button on the meal.
Near the parking lot are chickens, and for 50 cents you can turn the dial on the machine outside holding bird seed and feed the bird seed to them.
The Farmers Market is a few steps away and inside you’ll find produce and accessories for a meal including pasta sauce, barbeque sauce, and sangria mixer, too. Upstairs there are hand crafted ornaments that could find a place on someone’s front porch right next to t-shirts, hats, and bathrobes with the Beach Plum Farm logo.
The garden is crawling with flowers; some with the brightest reds and yellows. The garden is also where several pictures with family and friends are taken by visitors.
Beach Plum Farm is definitely What’s Good in South Jersey. Visit and learn how you can book a cottage on the farm!
