BRIDGETON, N.J. — Bridgeton’s Chamber of Commerce is asking for volunteers to help at this weekend’s Mexican Independence Day celebration at the Riverfront.
The event will take place from 1-7 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, and the Chamber needs volunteers to help beginning at noon. These volunteers will be asked to help control the number of people who enter the event. With coronavirus-related safety restrictions in place, only a certain number of people are allowed on the Riverfront at a time.
Volunteers will work at the event’s only entrance in order to maintain a safe capacity at the event. Board members, officers, and general members of Bridgeton’s Chamber of Commerce are among those being asked to volunteer for the event.
“Chamber Members may also provide give-aways to go in the bags provided by the County as long as they provide someone to put that item in the bag,” the Chamber said in an email sent on Tuesday morning. “Please contact the Chamber office to let us know if you can help and what hours you can be available.”
If you’re interested in volunteering, you can contact the Chamber of Commerce’s office by phone at (856) 455-1312. You can also reach out via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
