Moorestown, NJ- Donna Wood is the owner of Health Haven, a health food store located at 69 E. Mainstreet and she has a variety of health supplements for people to try depending on what they’re looking for. Donna has a degree in Nutrition because of her passion to learn and when engaging with her customers, before they buy anything she likes to find out what has been bothering them in order to point them towards the supplement for them. Donna says if the customer is not successful then she’s not either and the answer is not always buying supplements but taking inventory over your own body and getting out of your own way, “It’s my belief that the body has an innate ability to heal,” said Donna. “We have everything here for healing; our body and its infinite wisdom knows how to heal.”
Health Haven is more than a business but a personal calling to Donna and she says her target audience is everyone because everyone wants to take care of their health but may not know how to go about it. Holistically she believes there’s a balance between a healthy spirit, body, and soul and one is not more important than the other, “you can take all the supplements you want but if you’re going to sit at the table every night and argue with everyone, I do not think that is a good prescription for good health” said Donna.
