Salem, NJ- Friday, June 6 Salem hosted their block party bringing out the youth and families in the city with people such as Cequence Parsons who choreographed a dance for young girls who performed their routine for the city. Lighthouse Ministries set up a table and did face painting for the kids while sharing some information to attend their church with the people. Stand Up for Salem’s table kept dishing out water to the people in attendance since 90 degree weather was the temperature the block party took place in. DT Stanley pastor of Harvest Time Worship Center says though this years festival was different from last year the spirit was the same and the spirit was unity, “stay unified, let’s stay together, let’s support and encourage one another and I believe God’s blessings will flow on us and the name of Salem will truly live out what it means.” Click here to see a recap of what took place at this year’s Salem Block Party.
