Atlantic City, NJ- Marcus Holmes is the leader of AC Lions Youth Wrestling and they’re in their spring training season at the Police Athletic League in Atlantic City from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday’s and Thursdays. Holmes started teaching the local youth how to wrestle because he noticed a lack of structure in the youth but he also noticed there was an opportunity to show them something new while simultaneously sharing values in life that can be learned through wrestling. “A lot of lessons that come with wrestling can help you out in the real world,” said Holmes. Introduction wrestling to the youth served as a consideration to the local youth; the ones who have a competitive spirit but not towards the traditional games of basketball or football.
