WESTVILLE, N.J. – Victory in Christ Christian Center packed up food for Thanksgiving and was prepared to serve more than 750 families on Friday, Nov. 21.

Canned goods, fresh produce, turkeys, and more were provided, and the volunteers made the work to prepare the food look easy according to the executive director of the nonprofit Victory Group Jasmine Moore.

“We have 145 volunteers coming tonight,” said Moore. “They’re going to take two bags, they’re going around twice, maybe three times and we’re going to be done.”

Each food item is labeled to let the volunteers know how many of that item people should grab and put in their bag until it is full, then they drop off the bag in the sanctuary.

Serving the community is definitely What’s Good in South Jersey.
