SALEM, N.J. – Bring a pair of scissors and a small vase, South Jersey, and make your way to 120 Basset Road in Salem to a 15 acre farm called Ward’s Flower Farm.
The owners of the farm are Allen and Alyssa Ward, and they’ve provided an event on the weekends called date night.
Date night is a BYOB environment where guests who visit are encouraged to relax and enjoy the farm and pick their own bouquet of flowers. The end of October is when the farm goes into hibernation, so making your reservations sooner than later is the wisest decision.
Date nights start at 4 p.m. and last until sunset, encouraging customers to bring a good book to read in addition to picking flowers.
In order to grab a ticket visit wardsfarmnj.com and make your purchase, upon arriving the Wards will check you in and you have your choice of outdoor seating to enjoy the wine or good book or snack you brought to ensure a peaceful time on the property.
The Ward’s Flower Farm is definitely What’s Good in South Jersey.
