BRIDGETON, N.J. – Yoga in the Blooms is an Eastern Sky Co-Op event that took place at The Fiory Farm at 50 Minches Corner Road in Bridgeton.
This event included a 45 minute yoga class along with a 15-30 minute meditation period as well. Refreshments included lavender lemonade; creating your own flower bouquet was offered as well.
Kay Delp is the director of Eastern Sky Yoga and she claims before yoga she was a runner but it was detrimental to her health so she decided to try yoga on for size and it was a perfect fit for her.
“You tell your mind to shut up,” said Delp. “You get lost in a peaceful place.”
The instructor was Kristy Livley and her intention while teaching was to have her students connect to nature and all the peace it has to bring.
