BRIDGETON, N.J. – The Urban Enterprise Zone, UEZ, held a block party on Sunday, September 21, where families, residents, and neighbors joined together to celebrate the town.
The UEZ Authority Program offers resources to businesses to encourage growth. At this event, local businesses got the opportunity to set up a table and promote their brand, reach new audiences, and grow overall.
Much like businesses that participated in this event, children had a great day as well. They had a number of ways to have fun and play with one another.
There was a giant Connect 4 game, an arcade-style basketball court, a shark bubble party, a gaming truck, live music, a face painting station, sweet treats, a painting class, free chalk to decorate the sidewalk, free books to take home, arts & crafts, a pony to meet and pet, and more. Children played, danced, made new friends, and enjoyed time with family.
A mixture of numerous genres of music played throughout the entire block party.
People had plenty of food options to choose from such as burgers, hot dogs, tacos, empanadas, authentic mexican treats, sweet water ice, and many more.
The event was a success as everyone spent the day happy, entertained, and looking forward to the next time the town would get together.
