HAMMONTON, N.J. – The Eagle Theatre is premiering their production of The Addams Family (young@part edition) on Friday, October 3 at 7 p.m.

The show is directed by Caitlin Geisser, and everything from choreography, blocking, and set design has Geisser’s influence. The cast members are made up of youth from as old as 17 to as young as 10 years old, but they all know how to take direction, and they all agree they trust the vision of their director Geisser.

Gomez Addams and Mortician Addams are played by Omar Kargbo and Alicia Ellis respectively, and they describe their characters as stern but soft when necessary too.

“She doesn’t want people to know that she’s soft, but with her husband, it’s different,” said Ellis. “When she’s with her husband, she’s soft and loving, and you have to balance them.”

The Addams Family showing at The Eagle Theatre in Hammonton is definitely What’s Good in South Jersey.

The Eagle Theatre is located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton. Showtimes for The Addams Family are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday 7 p.m.
