WOODSTOWN, N.J. – The Salem County Career and Technical High School had thirteen members of the Class of 2025 earn their associate degrees at Salem Community College.
According to their website, “the Salem County Career and Technical High School District is designed to provide career and technical education programs that prepare secondary and postsecondary students for employment, for higher education leading to employment, and for lifelong learning…[offering] academic and related programs…to support career and technical education programs. In addition, essential skills such as ethics and other “soft skills” are taught.”
Since 2001, more than 100 Salem County Career and Technical High School students have achieved this major accomplishment.
The graduates with their Salem Tech program, SCC major and plan for fall 2025:
Alana Baker – Law Enforcement and Public Safety; Associate in Art in Liberal Arts; entering the workforce planning to earn her EMT and Firefighter Certifications.
Bilge Balci – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry; entering the United States Army.
Kaylin Beardsley – Academy of Agricultural Science; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry – Agricultural Science; entering the workforce and planning to get her Equine Riding Instructors Certification.
Hannah DeWitt – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry; attending Rutgers University in the fall, majoring in Biological Sciences.
Naomi Ennett – Allied Health Professionals; Associate in Science in Health Science; attending Widener University in the fall, majoring in Nursing.
Marisa Garvey – Allied Health Professionals; Associate in Science in Health Science; Unsure where she is attending school in the fall but plans to go to Nursing School.
Sophia Marandola – Academy of Agricultural Science; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry – Agricultural Science; attending Rutgers University, majoring in Athletic Training.
Keith Murphy – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Health Science; attending Salem Community College; majoring in Nursing.
Sarah Seiden – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry; attending Rutgers University; majoring in Exercise Science.
Brianna Stimpson – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry; attending Stockton University; majoring in Exercise Science, with a Minor in Dance.
Krista Thomas – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Health Science; attending ASI Career & Institute, seeking Phlebotomy, CNA, and Dialysis Tech Certifications.
Dylan Tuthill – Law Enforcement & Public Safety; Associate in Science – Criminal Justice Law Enforcement; attending Stockton University; majoring in Criminal Justice.
Sarah Weinstein – Academy of Medical Sciences; Associate in Science in Biology/Chemistry; attending Stockton University; majoring in Nursing.
