MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — Christian Connection held a game night at Great Day Ministries that entertained over 700 registered young Christians aiming to have good clean fun with their peers.

Anthony Johnson, also known as Minister Ant, was the host and his agenda was to see more collaboration within the church and less politics. Ja’Ron Morgan was the cohost for the event. “Even in our differences with denominations it does not mean division,” said Johnson. “Just like Acts they all loved each other and because they loved each other and understood who God was they collaborated and there’s no different here.”

Board games were played along with a new game called “Find It in the Bible” where the host yells a scripture and the person who can hop in a potato sack to the front of the alter the fastest and turn in their Bibles to the scripture the fastest wins the round. Vendors Camara A. Unique and Natasha Reyes Castro were also in attendance. Castro representing her brand Blac&Blanco selling women’s fashion and accessories while keeping Jesus in the forefront and Camara representing her beauty line informing women on including the Holy Spirit in all things even asking about the foundation and concealer they buy.
Spoken Word artists took center stage to deliver encouraging original pieces to the people followed by Christain Karaoke, everyone in the sanctuary lifting every voice to sing familiar Christian songs. The end of the night was a group discussion on evaluating the strength of your relationship with Jesus and Minister Ant led the discussion and alter call for those wanting to surrender their lives to Jesus.
