CAMDEN N.J. — Camden’s Promise Charter School celebrated their 25th anniversary with a gala fundraiser event at Adventure Aquarium on Monday, March 11. The event honored several of the school’s supporters over the years.
Camden’s Promise Charter School opened in September, 1998 with only sixth grade. Since then the school has grown to grades pre-K through 12 with six campuses across the City of Camden. The Camden’s Charter School Network includes Camden’s Promise (6-8), Camden Academy Charter High School (9-12), KATZ Elementary (K-5), and Camden’s Pride (K-5).
The gala raised over $1.3 million that will go to college scholarships for graduating students.
