WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. — Trinity Jagdeo is the founder of From We Can’t 2 We Can, a nonprofit organization that prioritizes children with special needs in South Jersey, and she decided to collaborate with The Rotary Club of Williamstown and Tabernacle of Faith Church to give kids with special needs an Easter Egg Hunt.

The Mary Mazza Duffy Park was full of kids with special needs and wheelchairs, but the park is wheelchair accessible, so participation was at an all-time high. Easter baskets were also up for grabs provided by the Tabernacle of Faith, and no kids left the park empty handed or without having a great time this Easter.

Melissa Milburn is a parent who came down to participate and loves the event because her daughter who is in a wheelchair can be among kids like her.

“I think it’s great for her to see that she’s not the only one who is different,” said Milburn. “She can see other people who are doing awesome things, and she can do them too.”

The event started at 11 a.m. on the Saturday before Easter without infringing on potential family plans that could be planned on Easter Sunday.
