DEPTFORD, N.J. — The Coalition of Community Churches held a Thanksgiving “drive-thru” in the parking lot of the Deptford Mall on Saturday, Nov. 23. The churches who organized the event had a goal of providing food to 600 families just in time for Thanksgiving — and they exceeded their goal.
Isaiah Showell was there to speak with the organizers, as well as community members who were grateful to be on the receiving end of such a generous effort.
