Salvation Army Vineland Corps to Start Accepting Donations Next Month for 11th Annual ‘Turkey Drive’

VINELAND, N.J. — The Salvation Army Vineland Corps (SAVC) will be hosting its 11th annual Turkey Drive next month in Vineland and Millville and are asking the community for donations and volunteers to help out.

The collection points will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m at the following places: November 16, 17, and 23 at ShopRite Lincoln. During the week of November 16 through the 23 (excluding Sunday, November 17) at the Habitat ReStore Vineland. On November 23, at: Sir Speedy Vineland, Todd’s News Agency Vineland, Bottino ShopRite Delsea; Bottino ShopRite Millville; and Starbucks Cumberland Mall.

Frozen turkeys and food donations are collected for direct donations to local families. $20 can feed a family for Thanksgiving. The SAVC accepts cash donations, checks, and grocery store gift cards.
