HADDONFIELD, N.J. — An over 1,000 pounds-plus abstract sculpture was installed in Haddonfield earlier this week.
“Unity” an abstract corten steel sculpture by acclaimed Palestinian Arab Israeli sculptor Hanna Jubran, is one of five pieces gifted to the Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST) by Rowan College at Burlington County.

Hanna Jubran, currently Sculpture Area Coordinator at East Carolina State University, NC, was born in the upper Galilee. Jubran’s work addresses the “concepts of time, movement, balance and space and takes advantage of compatible materials.”
He received his MFA in 1983 in sculpture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has exhibited globally, won numerous research awards, and is featured in collections around the world.
HOST is a nonprofit public/private outdoor educational art initiative bringing traditional and contemporary works by sculptors to the downtown district, some permanent and some temporary. More than two dozen sculptures have been placed throughout Haddonfield including a Children’s Sculpture Zoo.
