DEPTFORD TWP, NJ — The Rowan College of South Jersey‘s (RCSJ) 2025 Roadrunner Baseball Team head coach Rob Valli presented team members their NJCAA Division III National Championship rings Monday, December 22, 2025, in a ceremony in the College Center Mezzanine on the Gloucester campus, according to a press release from the college. The 2025 championship was the third straight national crown under head coach Valli and his staff.
College administrators, including interim president, Dr. Brenden Rickards and executive director of athletics, Brian Rowan, along with Gloucester County Commissioners Joann Gattinelli, education liaison and Jim Jefferson, deputy director, were there to congratulate Coach Valli and his three-time championship Roadrunner team.
Coach Valli presented team members with their rings individually, including World Series heroes R.J. Mustaro and Nick Slogik, according to the press release.
On their way to a three-peat title run, the Runners registered 54 wins, a perfect 30-0 Region 19 regular season mark and perfect 21-0 record in conference play. The Runners then swept through the NJCAA Division III tournament field, capped by a 16-1 win over Century Community College in the championship final.
All-Americans included R.J. Mustaro on the First Team, Gabriel Reyes on the Second Team and Matt Brunner on the Second Team. Valli was named NJCAA Divison III National Coach of the Year.
