BRIDGETON NJ — Through a generous grant for the Public Broadcast Service (PBS), Hopeloft, a nonprofit located in Bridgeton, and parent organization of Follow South Jersey, screened the PBS movie, “Run, Hide, Fight: Growing Up Under the Gun,” on Saturday, January 24.

The movie, made mostly by students from around the country, focused on how gun violence affects youth.

Following the screening, groups discussed the movie and shared their thoughts and ideas on how gun violence affects local youth and how to reduce gun violence in our communities.

The video below about the event was made by youth from Bridgeton and Salem with the assistance of Follow South Jersey staff.
