Travel Advisory: Street Paving Planned In Bridgeton

By: Follow South Jersey Staff

BRIDGETON, N.J. — The Bridgeton Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) has approved the Laurel Street paving project from Washington Street to Route 49 in downtown Bridgeton.

The paving is scheduled for the week of November 17, 2025. The area may see temporary lane closures and/or detours during construction, so residents and businesses are urged to plan for disruptions in travels, deliveries, and parking.

According to UEZ, the project is part of their continued efforts to improve infrastructure and support Bridgeton local businesses and community.
