“We are thrilled to offer our customers a refreshed shopping environment that aligns with their needs and expectations,” Allison Chellew, Store Manager of the Bridgeton Walmart, said in a press release from Walmart. “This remodel reflects our commitment to providing quality products at everyday low prices while enhancing the overall shopping experience. A big thank you to our dedicated associates, and our store leadership teams for their exceptional efforts throughout the renovation.”

The event featured special promotions, giveaways, and family-friendly activities and was attended by local Bridgeton organizations and elected officials, including Tony Stanzione from the Chamber of Commerce and Upper Deerfield Deputy Mayor James Crilley, according to the press release.

The Bridgeton Walmart has undergone several updates including: new paint, fixtures, signage, and LED lighting for a brighter, more inviting shopping environment; enhancements to support increased demand for online services; and a new consultation room for private conversations and pharmacy delivery services to better serve customers’ healthcare needs.

At the opening, the store manager and several associates presented a total of $8000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations: National Ovarian Cancer Coalition – $2000, Woods n Water – $2000, Big Brother Big Sister of Cumberland County – $2000, and Chapter Xiii – $2000.

The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of the store’s new mural, designed and illustrated by artist C. Cittadino, part of Walmart’s Community Mural Program. According to the press release, “the mural is an eye-catching installation that reflects the diversity, local cultures, attractions, and the best that Bridgeton has to offer, what makes the neighborhood great. ”
