SALEM, N.J. — On this week’s episode of the Follow Salem Podcast, we speak with John Boucher, Outreach Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity, Salem County. Boucher is a Navy veteran, retired police officer of 22 years, and lifelong Salem County resident.

In our discussion, Boucher shares insights into Habitat for Humanity’s mission, the impact of their work, and the overwhelming fulfillment that comes from helping others, his help specializing in the housing market. He speaks candidly about his passion for serving Salem County and how his work directly benefits elders, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families struggling with home maintenance and repairs.  

Boucher also discusses some of the challenges he faces in this work, but those challenges pale in comparison to his passionate approach in making a difference in the community he serves.
