BRIDGETON, N.J. — Bright and early on Saturday morning, March 22, the Hopeloft staff began preparing to receive people for its Makers Day program and finishing the to-do list that consisted of sweeping and mopping floors, rearranging chairs, and making signs to direct the community members where to go.

Rich Nichols, United Advocacy Group Executive Director, wanted the community of Bridgeton to take advantage of the amenities and preparation of his staff.

“We are trying to focus on Steam type activities,” said Nichols. “It’s a makers space that focuses on woodshop, laser etching, of course kids always love our sound recording studio.”
