NORTHFIELD, N.J. — Those looking for a job may have opportunities not far from their own backyard.

Atlantic County will hold a job fair on Thursday, September 12, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Atlantic County Public Works Building in Northfield.

“Working for county government can be extremely rewarding,” County Executive Dennis Levinson said in a press release from the county. “We are looking for responsible, quality candidates to join our team and help us provide the best services for our residents.”

The county will conduct on-the-spot interviews for laborers, maintenance repair workers and omnibus operators. Omnibus applicants may be current CDL holders or those interested in obtaining a CDL with available job training.

No appointment is necessary but those interested can save time by first applying online at: www.atlanticcountynj.gov/human-resources.

“Our benefit package is very attractive and includes medical, dental and vision coverage; pension; paid holidays, vacation and sick leave,” added Levinson. “Take time to give us a look. You may be pleasantly surprised.”

The Atlantic County Public Works Building is located at 101 New Road in Northfield.
