ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — On September 13, Bally’s Casino in Atlantic City will host a charity bike ride to support the Helen David Relief Fund. Registration for the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on the 13th, and the bike ride portion of the day will kick off an hour later.

You can sign up to attend the event by filling out this form.

The route taken during the bike ride event will span 25 miles, and it’ll go through Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Somers Point, and Northfield. Once the bike ride ends, cyclists will be able to head over to Bally’s Beach Bar for a complimentary lunch and happy hour event.

The Helen David Relief Fund was created to honor the memory of Helen David, who was a bar owner and community leader in Port Huron, Michigan. David beat breast cancer twice before passing away after a heart attack she suffered in 2006. The relief fund created in her memory works to provide grant-based funding to bartenders who have also suffered from cancer throughout their lifetime.

You can find more information about the Helen David Relief Fund, which operates under the United States Bartenders’ Guild foundation’s umbrella, here.
