BRIDGETON, N.J. — The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office has released a composite sketch of a possible witness to the case of missing five-year-old Dulce Maria Alavez.
The sketch, which was released on Tuesday, October 15, shows a man who was reported to been seen at the park around the time Dulce went missing. The man was reported to have been with one or two children under the age of five-years-old.
The individual is reported to be a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7”, slender build, between the ages of 30 to 35, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a white baseball-style hat.
The composite sketch was developed after a witness who recently came forward to provide a description. The Prosecutor’s Office is emphasizing that the sketch is not from the child witness who helps give authorities an initial description which led to the Amber Alert from Sept. 17.
Law enforcement will not ask any witness about their immigration status.
Anyone who can identify this individual or anyone who has information about the case can call the Bridgeton Police Department at 856-451-0033. You can also anonymously give information by texting TIP411 with subtext Bridgeton.
Dulce has brown eyes and hair, stands approximately 3′ tall, and weighs 60 to 70 pounds. Dulce Maria Alavez was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, black and white checkered pants with a flower design, and white sandals.
Law enforcement has been asking the public to submit any videos or photos of the Bridgeton City Park Recreational Area from Monday, Sept. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. The information from the photos and videos may be innocuous but it could potentially be valuable to the investigation to bring Dulce back home.
