The wages for tipped workers who make cash wages increased from $2.13 per hour to $2.63. Seasonal and small business employees (a business is considered “small” if it has six or fewer employees) will increase to $10.30 per hour on January 1st, 2020. Agricultural workers will see their wages rise to $10.30 per hour on January 1st, 2020 as well.

The new minimum wage will increase by $1 every year until 2024 when the new rate will hit $15 per hour.
