
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. – Chews Landing Road will be closed between Lower Landing Road and Front Street beginning Tuesday, June 25 and continuing through to July 23 according to the Camden County Department of Public Works.
South Jersey Gas will be renewing a gas main there.
“Motorists should exercise additional caution while in the area of this construction and remain especially cognizant of debris, crew members, and moving vehicles,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Department of Public Works said in a press release. “Until this project is completed, motorists should try to plan around the area and take extra caution when driving through the construction zone.”
The closure is expected to be in effect between 7 A.M. and 4 P.M. There will also be alternating traffic on Chews Landing Road between Taylor Avenue and King Street.
Scheduling and timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
