LINWOOD, N.J. – The newest tea house has landed in Linwood, and they call themselves Petals & Pours.

The business is brand new, but the owners also run Barista’s Cafe just two doors down. Leila Karlsen and her sister Roya Sedighi opened this new business to have space to host baby and bridal showers, but also because this is a dream they’ve had for a long time now being realized.
On August 1, the ribbon was cut by Mayor Darren Matik followed by others entering the tea room painted in pink with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Finger foods and tea were on each table and people were mingling while simultaneously supporting the sisters’ grand opening.
“Its a lot when starting a business, but it’s one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done,” said Karlsen.
Mocktails were also served and several pictures taken commemorating the occasion, and South Jersey’s on camera personality Whitney Ulman came out to support the sisters and shared a few words.
“It’s lite bites and sweet treats,” Ullman said. “Everything about it is so good.”
Petals and Pours is located at 199 New Road in Linwood and check this brand new tea room out with some friends, but don’t forget to make a reservation first on their website Petals & Pours or call 609-788-4324. They’re definitely What’s Good in South Jersey!
