CAMDEN, N.J. — Since May is mental health awareness month, Free All Minds Academy, a non profit organization that instills young men with essential skills for academic, professional, athletic, and emotional success, grabbed G Herbo for one of their panel discussions, and the result was instant fireworks!
G Herbo, a two time Grammy nominated artist, found time to come to South Jersey to speak to the youth. PTSD is a subject that Herbo has been vocal about in his music, and it was also brought up at the event due to a question he addressed by the youth. The founder of Free All Minds is Riccardo Dale, and he was also on the panel and shared some mental health tips with the youth.
Jayon Wescott and Todd Bockarie were the last two panelists to answer questions, making the time for G Herbo to perform an impromptu concert more readily available.
G Herbo, as the event was closing, grabbed the attention of the youth saying, “I want y’all to leave with one thing, you can get whatever you want to get out of life you just have to believe. Keep your faith in God and always trust his strategy, and you’ll be a greater version of yourself.”
