PITMAN, N.J. — The Pitman Environmental Commission is sponsoring its inaugural Bioblitz: Thinking Globally, Acting Locally, event on Saturday, June 10 at Alcyon Park. Events begin at 7:30 a.m. and run through 10:00 p.m.

“We have Jenn Totora of the PEC and Rowan School of Earth and Environment with a Nature Scavenger Hunt,” organizer Geo Francesca stated on her Facebook page.
There will be presenters from local organizations such as the Gloucester County Nature Club, Edelman Fossil Park, and the Pitman Memorabilia Committee.
Alcyon Park is located on West Holly Avenue in Pitman.
“It’ll be a beautiful day out in the park, although it is a tad dry,” Francesca added.
