SCC Board Of Trustees Elects New Chair, Vice Chair

CARNEY’S POINT, N.J. — At its annual reorganization meeting held in November, the Salem Community College Board of Trustees elected Ida Bowen as chair and Jason Supernavage as vice chair. 

Bowen joined the Board in January 2019 and was vice chair for the last three years.  The Pennsville resident is the retired president and chief executive officer of Deepwater Industries Federal Credit Union and previously worked at Mannington Mills for 28 years.  She received Salem Community College’s 2017 Distinguished Alumna Award.  Bowen succeeds Scott Kramme, who continues as a Board member.  

Supernavage joined the Board in May 2013.  Previously, he served as vice chair in 2016-17 and chaired the operations committee for two terms. Most recently, he served on the academics committee.  The Pennsville resident owns and operates Boston Associates Rehabilitation. 

The Board also reappointed Maria Fantini as Board secretary.
