ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. — Dominic Barksdale used to have an unhealthy diet, weigh 245 pounds, and wake up at 6 a.m. with acid reflux. Instead of trying to find healthier food options, he decided to cook them.
Barksdale turned his newfound healthy lifestyle into a business called “Almost Vegan.” As the name implies, Barksdale makes healthier meals with a small amount of meat, and these meals have helped him lose weight and live a much healthier lifestyle.
