
CUMBERLAND COUNTY – The Cumberland County Improvement Authority’s final 2019 Household Hazardous Waste and Shredding Event will run on Saturday, September 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Solid Waste Complex at 169 Jesse Bridge Road in Rosenhayn.
The waste and shredding event is free and open to only Cumberland County residents, proper ID will be required at registration.
Accepted items include: gasoline, kerosene, pesticides and herbicides, used motor oil, antifreeze, transmission fluid, car batteries, cleaning chemicals, fuel oil, oil-based paints, turpentine/thinners, televisions, electronics, fluorescent bulbs, and propane tanks.
Wood, tires, concrete, brush/branches, refrigerators, air conditioners, latex paint, and coolers will not be accepted.
Shredding of personal documents will be available onsite as well.
