NEW JERSEY — Officials from the National Weather Service has issued a high rip current risk for the Jersey Shore until Monday Evening.
There is a chance of dangerous and potentially life-threatening conditions for people entering the surf.
If you get caught in a rip current swim parallel to the beach, physically pulling your body out of the water that’s carrying you away from the shore. Also, never swim without a lifeguard on duty.
