
CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Due to the recent spat of dreary weather, several Camden County events scheduled for have been rescheduled.
“Camden County strives to bring exciting entertainment throughout the summer, but our first and foremost priority is the safety of our guests, residents, and performers,” Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events, said in a press release. “Unfortunately, sometimes summer weather does not make for a fun, or safe, concert experience. In these cases, it is in the interest of public safety that we reschedule the events for an evening when they can be enjoyed safely and fully.”
The concert at New Brooklyn Park in Winslow Township featuring the Dennis DiBlasio Jazz Ensemble that was scheduled for Tuesday, June 18th is being rescheduled for Tuesday, June 25th, at 7 p.m. The concert scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th, at the Norcross-McLaughlin Memorial Dell featuring Firefall is being rescheduled to Wednesday, August 28th, at 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Cardio on the Cooper event scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th has been canceled. The weekly series will resume its scheduled meetings thereafter.
