46th Annual Senior Citizens Art Show Concludes With Awards Reception

MAYS LANDING, N.J. — The 46th annual Atlantic County Senior Citizens Art Show concluded with an artists’ reception and awards ceremony held on Thursday, July 31 at Atlantic Cape Community College. The juried exhibit opened on June 9 at the Art Gallery on the Mays Landing campus.

Twenty-nine professional and non-professional artists age 60 and older competed in a variety of categories, including acrylic, craft, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, sculpture, watercolor, and works on paper, according to a press release from the college.

First place winners in each category received a $100 monetary award and their entries will advance to the state competition. Award ribbons were awarded to first place through honorable mention as determined by the judges.
