SALEM, N.J. — New Jersey voters have a choice to vote on Election Day or during the early voting period that begins on October 26 and runs through November 3.
Early voting gives people the flexibility to vote at more convenient times.
For those who have voted in New Jersey before, you don’t need to provide ID to vote. However, if you’re voting for the first-time in your county, registered to vote by mail, and didn’t provide an ID number or copy of ID when you registered, an ID is needed to vote.
Acceptable forms if ID include: NJ driver’s license, with or without a photo, US passport, military or other government ID, student ID, employee ID, store membership card, bank statement, car registration, government check or document, rent receipt, sample ballot, utility bill, or any other official document with your name and address.
If you do not have an ID, you will be able to vote a provisional ballot.
Early voting in Salem will take place at the Union Fire Hall, 21 Walnut St. There are also two other locations in Salem County, Elmer Fire Hall, 110 Penn St, Elmer, and Mid- Atlantic States Career and Education Center, 375 S Broadway, Pennsville.
Below are the scheduled days and times for early voting:
- Saturday, October 26th 10am- 8pm
- Sunday, October 27th 10am- 6pm
- Monday, October 28th 10am- 8pm
- Tuesday, October 29th 10am- 8pm
- Wednesday, October 30th 10am- 8pm
- Thursday, October 31st 10am- 8pm
- Friday, November 1st10am- 8pm
- Saturday, November 2nd 10am- 8pm
- Sunday, November 3rd 10am- 6pm
