SOUTH JERSEY — Small Business 101: Digital Marketing/Advertising Resources to Build Your Business, a workshop for small business owners to teach and enhance their digital marketing and advertising skills, will take place on August 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom.
Sponsored by the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA) the workshop is a two-part training session that “covers marketing fundamentals, focusing on crafting a unique positioning statement and telling your brand story” as well as “creating compelling content and utilizing digital marketing tools and focuses on implementing basic search engine optimization (SEO), leveraging social media, and exploring email marketing fundamentals,” according to a press release from the department.
“We are committed to providing small business owners with the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital landscape,” Leslie A. Anderson, President and CEO of the NJRA, said in the press release. “This workshop is an excellent opportunity to gain practical insights and strategies that can drive business growth.”
The workshop will feature Tara Dowdell of the Tara Dowdell Group to discuss marketing and public relations and Jaime Izurieta of Storefront Mastery who specializes in storefront design and urban revitalization.
The cost to attend is $50. Pre-registration is required.
