EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. — The Egg Harbor Township School District and the Atlantic County Workforce Development Board will sponsor a Career Expo for county residents who are interested in learning more about high-paying job opportunities as plumbers, electricians, mechanics, carpenters, and other trades, the county has announced.
The Apprenticeship and Trades Career Expo will be held on Thursday, August 17, 3-5 p.m. at the Alder Avenue Middle School, 25 Alder Avenue, Egg Harbor Township and is free to attend.
“For those looking for a career path that doesn’t require four years of college yet provides a comfortable salary, a trade career may be an ideal fit,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson in a press release from the county. “And many trades provide apprenticeships and on-the-job training to let you hit the ground running in less than two years.”
Representatives from various unions and trades will be available to provide information and answer questions.
