GLASSBORO, N.J. – Summer Fest happens in downtown Glassboro every Thursday night for the month of July. The events run from 5-9 p.m. in Glassboro’s town square.

Admission is free and activities are low-cost. Live bands, food trucks, local craft wine and beer for the adults, or face painting for the children. Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets and get comfortable to lounge for a beautiful summer night.

Having local vendors keeps the sense of community alive. Thursday, July 13, Summer Fest’s local South Jersey cover band, Bar None Band, will be performing. The local food trucks will be Filippo’s Pizzeria, Big Papa Jai’s BBQ, and Polish Water Ice.

Nexus Properties are hosting the events this year to gain attraction to Glassboro and all of the new progressive renovations they built over the recent years. The town of Glassboro has evolved immensely over the past 10 years with the help of Nexus Properties, and it continues to grow. It is home to many families, and many Rowan University students.

Nexus Properties is helping Glassboro become a more welcoming community and special days such as Summer Fest works to bring the community together. Glassboro’s downtown has created more space for more activities, events, and making memories.
