SEWELL, N.J. — The Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation recently donated $35,000 to the Patient Assistance Fund at Jefferson Health – New Jersey.
A longtime supporter of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, the foundation helped 40 cancer patients last year with rent, utilities, or transportation by receiving financial assistance from this fund, allowing them to continue focusing on their treatment and care.
“We offer sincere thanks to the Bill Bottino Cancer Foundation for their ongoing support of the critical needs of our patients and families,” Tamara LaCouture, MD, Interim Chief of Cancer Services at Jefferson Health – New Jersey, said in a press release from Jefferson. “Their collaboration and generosity provide the vital assistance that allows us to continue putting patients first in all that we do.”
Jefferson Health’s two New Jersey advanced care hubs of the NCI-designated Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center are in Cherry Hill and Washington Township. For more information, visit www.JeffersonHealth.org/cancer.
