CAPE MAY, N.J. — Cape May County will host its annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony on Thursday November 11 at the Naval Air Station Wildwood located at the Cape May County Airport.
Cape May County Commissioner Brig. Gen (Ret) Jeffrey L. Pierson will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
Additional speakers scheduled to attend are Cape May County Commissioner Vice-Director Leonard Desiderio and Congressman Jeff Van Drew.
In addition, Susan Blood, the Sr. Naval Science Instructor with Middle Township High School’s Navy National Defense Cadet Corps, and Sarah “Kathy” Felger, Commanding Officer, at USCG TRACEN, Cape May will also speak.
The Veterans’ Art Exhibit opens Thursday, November 11th during Veterans Ceremony at Naval Air Station Wildwood. The exhibit will be on display for one month following the ceremony.
The ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. with doors opening at 1:00 p.m.
The Cape May County Airport is located at 500 Forrestal Rd, Cape May.
