BRIDGETON, N.J. — Bridgeton Public Schools will distribute backpacks to students in Cumberland County from noon to 2 p.m. on August 18. The event will take place at the Broad Street School, which is located on 251 W. Broad St.
Book bags will be given to community members on a first-come, first-served basis for K-12 students throughout the event.
No registration will be required upon arrival, and all who attend the event will be encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by wearing a mask and social distancing. One backpack will be given per family to keep an accurate and fair count.
