VINELAND, N.J. — Golden Gate Inc., a daycare center based in South Jersey, held a COVID-19 relief event to support families in the area and further connect with the community.
The event featured a food distribution, clothing donations, and free toys for children in the area. Golden Gate collaborated with the Cumberland County Council for Young Children, Amazon, Inspira, and others to host the event.
“This is what ministry is all about. It is connecting with people, providing the needs of families,” Valerie Robinson, the CEO of Golden Gate Inc., said during the event. “We’ve gone through devastation for the past year, and to be in a position now that we can be a resource in order to feed into the families and to restore a lot of things that our families have lost like food, clothing, household items — it is truly a blessing. It is, in fact, a dream come true.”
