BRIDGETON, N.J. — The Community Food Bank of New Jersey and a smattering of other organizations based in South Jersey will hold a pair of food distribution events in Cumberland County this week.

The food distributions will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 31 and Friday, April 2. Wednesday’s food distribution will take place in the big parking lot adjacent to Los Molcajetes, which is located at 147 Irving Ave. #2002 in Bridgeton. On Friday, food will be distributed from the previous Rite Aid parking lot at 533 Wood St. in Vineland.

If you’re interesting in attending this food distribution, you can register by reaching out to MSanchez@cfbnj.org via email with your name and family size. All who attend will be required to bring a form of identification, wear masks, and adhere to other COVID-19-related safety guidelines like social distancing at all times during the event.

Event organizers are still looking for volunteers to help distribute food as part of this event. If you’re interested in volunteering on either day or know anyone who is, you can reach out to Hillary Nichols via email at hillary@hopeloft.com.
