Bridgeton Chamber of Commerce to Hold Virtual Mental Health Seminar

BRIDGETON, N.J. — The Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Cumberland Development Corporation is offering a virtual lecture next week.

Dr. Cynthia M. Hickman, Ed.D will be the guest speaker during the Chamber’s virtual event. The lecture will begin at noon on January 26, but community members interested in networking can join the virtual event at 11:45 a.m. The lecture will take place via Zoom, with guests listening in from their homes for a cost of $10.

You can register for the event here, and those who register will receive the Zoom link prior to the event. Registering for the event also gives the Chamber of Commerce consent to add attendees to their contact list for future communication.

Dr. Hickman’s goal for her presentation is to not only acknowledge the value of mental health in the workplace, but also to consider methods of how to encourage and create mentally healthy work environments.

Dr. Hickman has earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership from Rowan University as well as her masters degree in sociology at Rutgers University. Currently she is serving as the Director of Training and Development for the Cumberland County Government.
