WOODBURY, N.J. — Coronavirus testing is now available at Patient First’s location in Woodbury, the urgent care chain announced last Thursday.
Community members can now receive a coronavirus test at any of Patient First’s six locations throughout South Jersey. You can schedule a test online at Patient First’s website for any of the chain’s six South Jersey locations. In addition to Woodbury, coronavirus testing through Patient First is available in Cherry Hill, Hamilton, Voorhees, Sicklerville, and Delran.
Those who schedule a test must be showing symptoms of the coronavirus, which include coughing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, and a sore throat. Community members who have fatigue, body aches/muscle pain, headaches, diarrhea, and a loss of appetite/sense of smell can also receive a coronavirus test from Patient First. Additionally, healthcare workers, cancer patients, and those required by their employer or school are also able to get tested at Patient First.
All test samples from Patient First are sent to a third-party lab, and nurses from the urgent care chain will call you to let you know about your test results.
Most patients with health insurance won’t be charged an out-of-pocket fee for their coronavirus test. Patient First, which accepts all major insurance plans, will submit a charge to patients’ insurers. The lab where tests are sent may send patients additional charges in some cases.
