BRIDGETON, N.J. — Relationships are a pretty common topic for musicians to draw inspiration from, and that’s especially true in the case of Cecily Bumbray’s “Awakening Pt. 1.”
Her new EP discusses how people should work to improve themselves before entering a romantic relationship. It also dives deeper into some of the key aspects of maintaining a healthy relationship.
Bumbray sat down with us to discuss the music, and highlights the track “Clumsy” — a song that was inspired by the beginning of her relationship with her now-husband. You can listen to the four-song EP here.
